A triple celebration is slated for this weekend in the Michele-Green household as model Draya Michele and Houston Rockets player Jalen Green, both 22, revealed the first full pictures of their adorable baby girl, Lyght Green, ahead of the Father’s Day weekend.
Allure and charm exuded from the pictures the proud parents posted on their respective Instagrams featuring themselves and their bundled joy draped in matching Burberry outfits, signaling that they are as fashion-forward as they are doting parents. The baby herself already has her dedicated Instagram page built up with a burgeoning following and candid captures of her initial weeks.
Sharing the stage in the pictures with her famous father, baby Lyght can be seen playfully interacting with Jalen, already a proud “Girl Dad.” As they exchanged high-fives, it seemed like Lyght has successfully stolen her dad’s heart, and rightly so. The fashion-flaunting father affirmed as he penned an apt caption, “Fatherhood but make it fashion!”
Draya Michele, too, left no rubble unturned in doling out affection for her daughter, sharing a warmly lit mother-daughter photo on her Instagram Story. She delightfully announced to the world, “My daughter @lyghtgreen says hello.”
Earlier, Jalen had also spoken of the joyous experience of fatherhood on SportsTalk790, exclaiming, “Fatherhood is great, I cannot complain. My baby is beautiful, healthy, she’s amazing.”
This portends a significant milestone for Draya, who mothered Lyght amid a fraught emotional time. Having lost her father on Mother’s Day three years prior, her daughter’s birth on Mother’s Day in 2024 had ushered a healing experience for the former Basketball Wives star, replacing the grief-stricken memories with endearing ones.
Co-parenting Lyght with Jalen, Draya also adds to her motherhood journey of raising two sons – Kniko Howard, 23, and Jru Scandrick, 9, from her previous relationships.
