Edith Bowman turns heads in an eye-catching pink dress as she attends the UK premiere of Squid Game season three

So tell me why Edith, of all people now, decided to step out in these streets looking like a blooming peony at the tender age of 51? Girl, she strutted through downtown in this bright pink layered midi dress. Now mind you, the garment had its moments. There were layers upon layers of ruffled material floating around her, giving off a young at heart energy that you have to love. But y’all know I have to hit you with the tea.

Okay so boom, from afar, she was serving realness and finesse. The pink was so bright; you’d assume she was walking around with a personal sunshine. But once you got closer, you became waist-deep in the drama. The belt, my friends, was a bold, black bow. Yes, a bow! It was like she played dress-up in her little niece’s closet. A grown woman strutting around adorned with such a playful gaudiness.

Now, I’m not one to throw shade without merit. I’ll give credit where it is due. The fit of the dress was a match made in heaven for Edith. It flattered her figure, hugged her curves in the right places, and gave her an air of youthful spirit. She must have been feeling herself, ’cause when she walked, y’all, it was heels click-clacking, hair bouncing.

But that bow could have been executed in a less juvenile way. If she opted for a more refined, sophisticated material or perhaps repurposed the bow as a creative accent elsewhere on the dress, that could have been a game-changer.

So apparently, fashion choices aside, Miss Edith did command presence. There’s no disputing her spirit. It was refreshing to see a woman of her age refusing to conform to society’s expectations. She did the damn thing and was clearly unbothered by the whispers and side eyes. Yass Edith, we see you, girl!

All tea no shade, her choice in fashion was, well, interesting. I suppose in a world that’s monotonously drab, we all need an Edith to turn heads and keep things spicy. Now, don’t let me hold you up, but I can’t wait to see what character Edith’s wardrobe paints next.
