In a surprising twist of events, Brit Eady, ex dancing diva of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), has been throwing piping hot shade at her former friend, chef Kelli Ferrell, after a falling out over the services of Ferrell’s glam team. This recent feud comes on the heels of a pointed comment made by Ferrell referring to Eady’s ongoing lawsuit against Bravo over the controversial sexual images shown at a Kenya Moore hair spa launch event.
Eady, standing firm in her stance, took to Instagram on June 17 to assure her followers she needed no validation from crowds. Dressed in a figure-hugging cheetah-print dress, she confidently disclosed that she did her own gelam, after all the drama with her former friend was aired on an episode of RHOA.
Their friendship seemingly took another hit during a recent episode that revolved around a heated confrontation about Eady’s supposed lack of contribution to the Grenada disaster relief. Ferrell felt slighted, considering Eady’s previous brag about treating her entire staff to cosmetic surgery back in 2020. Alarm bells rang for Eady, who speculated Ferrell could be upset about something else entirely.
Ferrell bared it all in a confessional on the show, revealing that she suspected Eady of secretly attempting to entangle her glam team into her personal sphere. She even went as far as claiming that Eady had held a covert meeting with her team without her knowledge. Eady countered this accusation, suggesting that Ferrell’s resistance stemmed from jealousy and was not at all “bestie” behaviour.
To this, Ferrell retorted with, “It’s like, damn, do you want my gynecologist too?” during a recent episode. Her words were a clear sign of disapproval, even though she was willing to allow Eady to access her glam squad. However coming across like she wanted every aspect of Ferell’s life was off-putting for the Bravo star.
Pulled into the drama, Paris Chea, a stylist who had once worked with both Eady and Ferrell, commented on the situation. According to a post by him, Ferrell seemingly crashed a meeting between Eady and the glam squad while intoxicated. Chea swiftly defended Eady when a user on social media suggested that Eady’s funds were questionable and might pose a difficulty in payments for the glam squad.
This online feud has since escalated, with Ferrell dismissing the controversy on her Instagram Stories, referring to the detractors as “worker/scammer/fan,” before course changing to her family vacation.
In a classic case of tit for tat, Chea responded by changing his profile pic to a shady meme shared by Eady. The drama, however, doesn’t end there.
In a recent interview, Ferrell also threw shade at Eady, adding another layer of complexity to their already twisted saga. One thing is clear; the trading of shade between these ex-friends shows no sign of slowing down, pointing to a feud that might be far from over.
